Daughter, sister, significant other, dog mom, photographer, chemical engineer, graduate student, plant lady wanna-be, dad-joke sayer, lover of light and happiness. But most people call me Lauren.
I'm 28 years old! In the photo you'll see me & my sweet honey Philip. Both of us are crazy dog lovin' folks. I love a good cup of coffee and an even better glass of wine. I love to travel and take naps. I like to think I'm an easy going person, but I have a planner for everything (I think I have 3 right now for 3 different things). I'm a full time grad student and working professional. So if it takes a day or two to get back to you, please know I see you and will get back to you as soon as possible.
My philosophy is simple, invest in your self when choosing your photographer. I believe in investment. You are taking a step to invest in your memories and I am here to preserve them in the best way I know how, storytelling through photographs. What's the first thing someone reaches for when they've lost someone or when they want to show someone a moment in time? A photograph, that's the investment.
In my sessions you'll be moving around so much that you won't even have time to worry about what to do with your hands. I believe in giving you prompts and direction not dictate poses.
I aim for the raw, the candid, the genuine. I love capturing those sweet intimate little moments that can easily be missed if you're not paying attention. Each session is tailored uniquely to you. I love getting to know my clients before hand, I want to be your friend. You'll be spending anywhere from 30 minutes to 8 hours with me, and during that entire time I want you to feel comfortable. When you're comfortable those beautiful moments come to life.
I like creating a stress free inclusive environment for all of my clients. I aim to serve my clients from beginning to end. I deliver a beautiful gallery that perfectly captures the light that is you regardless if it's just you, you & your honey, or entire families.
